About us
Welcome to TORVEX, We are a non profit organization developed to provide as much information on incoming storms that can and are dangerous and a threat to loss of life and property. We trained spotters through the NWS-NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. We are experienced storm chasers that chase storms through “DIXIE ALLEY”.
Before TORVEX, in 2011, we had a massive deadly tornado outbreak in Alabama. Over 200 people sadly lost their life and loved ones and property. It was a tragic event that is forever scarred in our minds. After 2011, Me and Chris became extreme weather nerds. Constantly studying and learning to grow our education to possibly make a difference for future supercell outbreaks. In 2019 the idea of chasing storms became intense and we were dying to try it and see what we could make of it, lots of errors and trials. Over the next few years we have grown more into the science behind super cells and how tornados and severe storms work. Then 2024 rolls around and we have combined the love of weather, science, and helping the public into one ordeal. After that TORVEX was created.
